Basic Health Monitoring
Ensure the well-being of students with regular health assessments, temperature checks, and basic medical support provided by our qualified school health nurses.
We believe in preventive care. Our health education workshops empower students with valuable information on nutrition, hygiene, mental health, and more.
Develop and organize sick room with necessary equipment such as vital signs tray, first aid kit, emergency medicine, dressing set, weight machine, stadiometer , storage cub board, sharp disposal system, biohazard waste container, sanitary waste bin, provision of sanitary pad, list of emergency telephone number.
Develop health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
Carrying out health assessments and screening for deficits in vision, hearing, growth and development of students.
Detect health problems in early stage through regular screening.
Provide basic health care to students in case of injury or acute illness. Develop plans for prevention and control of infectious diseases.
Maintaining health records to ensure individualized health care and health promotion.
Keep tract of students’ vaccination records.
In emergency situation take appropriate action. Referral to the appropriate health facilities and inform the concerned authorities.
Providing ongoing health counseling to students, parents and staffs.
Conduct conference to educate teachers and encourage teachers to take classes related to acute and chronic illnesses, pubertal changes and management, menstrual hygiene, adolescent pregnancy, communicable diseases, dental diseases, injuries and emergencies, mental health, nutrition, obesity, sexually transmitted diseases, substance use and abuse, smoking prevention and cessation, exercise etc.
Ensure school environment is safe for children as to prevent injury and ensure safety. Record all necessary information about student health conditions in order to ensure efficient organizational operation.
Communicate regularly with the concerned authorities and develop plans to promote health and prevent disease among students and staff.
